Conclusion: The air volume of one air suspension fan is equal to that of two Roots fans. But the wind pressure is much higher than the roots fan. It consumes as much electricity as a single Roots fan. In practice, our fermenter works with two Roots fans. But only one air suspension fan is needed. According to practical operation, one air suspension fan (total power 9KW) can completely replace two Roots fans (bottom fan and fixed complementary fan, total power 24.2KW). |
